How to renew a family group member’s membership

  1. Select “Renew”

  • the box “Update in LSO” must be ticked for the Organisation’s settings in SurfGuard for this button to show

  • you will not be able to view this button if you are under 18 years old, a standard member of the family group, or have a pending New Family Group, New Family Group Member, Delete Family Group, Leave Family Group, Renew Club Membership, or Transfer request

  • If the club does not have at least one Active price list item set up then a pop-up will show:

  1. Select the season and member you would like to renew for

  • If you are already registered for the current season → only the next season will show in the dropdown.

  • If you are registered for the previous season (or any previous one including if you are archived) → only the current and next season will show in the dropdown

  1. Tick to recognise and accept the Declaration and select “Next”

  1. Select the renewal fee and add-on fees (if applicable) and select “Next”

If you tick “Next” and there is a family group member selected that does not have a price list item set up for their sub-membership category or from the “Other" category, then a pop-up error message will show and you will not be able to proceed until you untick that member.

  1. View a summary of the fees you will pay

  1. Select your desired payment method and enter the relevant details (Note: the available payment methods will depend on the organisation you are renewing for)

  2. If you are paying via Credit Card: Select “Pay and Submit Request”

  3. If you are paying via Bank Transfer or Other: Select “Next”

  1. Review the details of your request and select “Pay and Submit Request” (if you are paying via Credit Card) or “Submit Request” (if you are paying via Bank Transfer or Other)

Your renewal application is now submitted!

The club will process your renewal request and send you an email when it has been approved.
