I can’t access Find Members

Find Members is only available if you belong to a group with permission to view it

  • SurfGuard user accounts are managed by each state office. Contact your state centre using the appropriate form here to have them update your permissions if needed.

I can’t see the Filters panel

On the Find User page:

  • If you are using desktop or tablet, the Filters might be hidden to save space on the page

  • Filters won’t appear if you are using a mobile phone or tablet in portrait view (filters open in a separate full‑screen view)

  • On desktop or tablet select the “Show Filters” button

  • Contact the Helpdesk for assistance if needed

I know the member exists, but they don’t appear

A member result won’t appear if:

  • Their membership is still pending

  • They’ve been transferred out

  • They are deceased, suspended, or expelled and those Membership Status filters aren’t selected

  • You don’t have access to their organisation

  • In the Search bar, instead of First Name, try searching by Last Name, Member ID, Email Address, or Phone Number

  • Use the filters for more advanced searching

  • Select “Reset All” to restore default filters, then reselect filters

  • SurfGuard user accounts are managed by each state office. Contact your state centre using the appropriate form here to have them update the list of organisations you can access.

I only see Active and Archived members

Active and Archived membership statuses are selected by default in the filters

  • Select Archived, Suspended, Deceased, or other statuses as required
