User Access
Access and Authorisation
SurfGuard is available only to approved users. Access is restricted to individuals who have been authorised to manage members, assets, or operational information within the system.
Authorised users may include:
SLS staff
Club administrators and officers
Branch or State administrators
Staff from other recognised organisations (where approved)
Access is role‑based and reflects the responsibilities assigned to each user.
User Accounts
Access to SurfGuard requires a dedicated SurfGuard user account. These accounts are:
Created and activated by a State‑level administrator or higher
Assigned specific permissions based on role and responsibility
A SurfGuard user account is separate from an SLS Hub account. While an individual may hold both, they serve different purposes:
SLS Hub account – for personal membership access
SurfGuard account – for administrative and management tasks
If you do not have a SurfGuard account, you can select Sign Up on the SurfGuard sign‑in page and follow the prompts. Your request will need to be approved before access is granted.
