Menu

The Menu shows all the areas of the application that are available to you, based on your current organisation and permissions.

You can use the menu to:

  • Navigate to a specific page by selecting a menu item

  • Browse features by section, making it easier to find what you need

  • Search for menu items using the search bar to quickly find pages by name

  • Bookmark menu items to add them to your Favourites

  • Remove bookmarks directly from the Menu when you no longer need them

  • Access relevant user guides by selecting the information (ℹ️) icon on a menu section

I can’t see a menu item or section I expected

The Menu items you see depend on:

  • Your permissions

  • The organisation you are currently viewing

  • SurfGuard user accounts are managed by each state office. Contact your state centre using the appropriate form here to have them update your permissions if needed.

The Menu looks different than before

The Menu can change if:

  • You switch to a different organisation (i.e. national, state, branch, or club)

  • Your permissions changed

  • This is expected behaviour and helps keep the Menu relevant

I am using my laptop but cannot see the information (ℹ️) icon or user guide links for a particular section

If the URL to the user guide is not valid then the information (ℹ️) icon and user guide links will not display

  • Contact the Helpdesk to report this issue

I am using my mobile device but cannot see the information (ℹ️) icon or user guide links

This is expected behaviour. The Confluence pages we use to store the SurfGuard user guide are not mobile friendly
