Awards and Proficiencies

The Awards & Proficiencies widget provides a visual summary of award holdings and proficiencies for active members within the current organisation.

What the chart shows

  • A column chart displays the how many active members in this organisation (and its children) currently hold specific awards (“Award Holders” column), and how many of those members have achieved proficiency during the current patrol season (“Proficiency this Season” column)

  • Each set of columns represents an award:

    • BM: Bronze Medallion #1020

    • IRBC: IRB Crew Certificate #1041

    • IRBD: IRB Driver Certificate #1042

    • ART: Advanced Resuscitation Techniques #2434 or Advanced Resuscitation Techniques [AID] #1865

    • SMPC/SMBM: Silver Medallion Patrol Captain #2518 or Silver Medallion Beach Management #1270

How to use this widget

  • Hover over a column to view the number of members who hold that award and are proficient this season

  • Select the question‑mark ( ? ) icon on the widget to view additional information

Troubleshooting

Action

I can’t see this widget on the dashboard

This widget is only visible if:

  • You are on the club, branch, or state levels, and

  • You have the Can View permission for this widget, and

  • You are viewing the Memberships application

  • Check your organisation and application contexts and switch if needed.

These numbers look lower than expected

Possible reasons include:

  • Awards have expired before the end of the patrol season

  • Members are not marked as active

  • This is working as expected.

One of the awards isn’t showing in the widget

The award will only show if there is at least one member in that organisation (or its hierarchy) that holds that award

  • This is working as expected.
