Schooling Levels
The Schooling Levels page within the Maintenance area allows authorised users to manage the list of schooling levels used across SurfGuard, including the AVETMISS‑aligned equivalents required for compliance and reporting.
View Schooling Levels
To view the list of schooling levels:
Open the menu
Next, you have two options:
Scroll to the Maintenance section to find the Schooling Levels section
Search for “Schooling Levels” in the search bar at the top right hand side of the page
Select the Schooling Levels option
View the Schooling Levels page which shows a list of information including:
Schooling level
AVETMISS equivalent
Display order
Enter the schooling level into the Search bar and select “Search”
The list will update with the search results
Add/Edit Schooling Levels
You can add or edit the list of schooling levels only if you have the relevant permission to do so.
Option A: Add Schooling Level
Select the “Add Schooling Level” button
The Add New Schooling Level drawer opens
Add details
Select Save to save your changes
If successful, a confirmation message appears:
Option B: Edit Schooling Level
Select one of the schooling levels in the list
The Edit Schooling Level drawer opens
Update the details
Select Update to save your changes
If successful, a confirmation message appears:
Delete Schooling Levels
You can delete schooling levels only if you have the relevant permission to do so.
Tick at least one of the schooling levels in the list
Select the three vertical dots (kebab) in the top right of the screen
Select “Delete selected records”
Select “Delete”
If successful, a confirmation message appears
Troubleshooting

I can’t see the Schooling Levels option in the Menu | The Schooling Levels section is only visible under the Maintenance menu item if:

A schooling level I deleted still appears in reports | Deleting a schooling level prevents it from being selected for new or updated records. But deleted schooling levels that are already attached to existing member records are retained for historical accuracy |
