ID Verification Types
The ID Verification Types page within the Maintenance area allows authorised users to manage the list of acceptable identity verification document types used within SurfGuard.
View ID Verification Types
To view the list of verification types:
Open the menu
Next, you have two options:
Scroll to the Maintenance section to find the ID Verification Types section
Search for “ID Verification Types” in the search bar at the top right hand side of the page
Select the ID Verification Types option
View the ID Verification Types page which shows a list of information including:
ID Verification Type
Requires State of Issue - i.e. if selected, users will be prompted to select the state in which the ID was issued.
Enter the ID type into the Search bar and select “Search”
The list will update with the search results
Add/Edit ID Verification Types
You can add or edit the list of ID types only if you have the relevant permission to do so.
Option A: Add ID Verification Type
Select the “Add ID Verification Type” button
The Add ID Verification Type drawer opens
Add details
Select Save to save your changes
If successful, a confirmation message appears:
Option B: Edit ID Verification Type
Select one of the ID types in the list
The Edit ID Verification Type drawer opens
Update the details
Select Update to save your changes
If successful, a confirmation message appears:
Delete ID Verification Types
You can delete ID types only if you have the relevant permission to do so.
Tick at least one of the ID types in the list
Select the three vertical dots (kebab) in the top right of the screen
Select “Delete selected records”
Select “Delete”
If successful, a confirmation message appears
Troubleshooting

I can’t see the ID Verification Types option in the Menu | The ID Verification Types section is only visible under the Maintenance menu item if:

An ID type I deleted still appears in reports | Deleting an ID type prevents it from being selected for new or updated records. But deleted ID types that are currently attached to existing member records are retained for historical accuracy |
