Substitution Maintenance
The Substitution Maintenance page allows authorised users to update various settings related to the notifications of events and actions applied to Substitutions in Patrol Rosters.
Accessing Substitution Maintenance
Open the menu
Next, you have two options:
Scroll to the Maintenance section
Search for “Substitution Maintenance” in the search bar at the top right hand side of the page
Select the Substitution Maintenance option

Filter by organisation
If you are on the Branch, State, or National levels you must first select an organisation in order to view its substitution settings.
The Substitution Maintenance page shows a list of parameters.

Search
Use the Search field to narrow results by searching the substitution parameter or description and selecting “Search”.
Edit Substitution Maintenance values
You can edit the substitution maintenance values only if you have the relevant permission to do so.
Select one of the parameters in the list
The Substitution Maintenance drawer opens
Update the value:
Parameter: Hours Prior → the number you enter will be counted in hours
Parameter: Days Prior → the number you enter will be counted in days
Parameter: Position Notified → search and select the position(s)
Parameter: Notification -> select Yes or No
Parameter: Eligible Members Only → select Yes or No
Select Update to save your changes
If successful, a confirmation message appears
